Landscape Connectivity Analysis and Optimization of Qianjiangyuan National Park, Zhejiang Province, China

As natural ecosystems in most parts of the world come under increasing human influence, fragmentation is becoming major driving factor global biodiversity crisis. Therefore, connectivity between habitat patches even more important. China began building national parks with primary purpose protecting nationally representative and maintaining integrity their structure, processes functions. Research necessary to improve internal propose suggestions for existing functional zoning biological corridors. In this study, Qianjiangyuan National Park was selected as an example park, landscape evaluated exponentially simulated visually. The characteristics protected species region, morphological spatial pattern analysis delta probability were used together identify key importance levels study area. Potential corridors region then obtained using least-cost path gravity modeling methods based on distribution migration costs target species. results show that disturbed area dominated by tea plantations drylands, central roads being important affecting overall connectivity. terms patches, mountains have a high value. area, size not directly proportional but large are generally higher importance. distance, habitats closer each other stronger correlation greater possibility migration.
